8 Camera Quad Processor, 8 Camera Splitter

This Quad processor or camera splitter lets you view up to 8 cameras in any of the following modes:

• 4 Cameras at a time on one screen in a grid, switching between each set of 4 cameras every few seconds that you can set
• 1 Camera at a time in full screen mode automatically or manually switching
• Picture in Picture (PIP) mode that lets you view any 2 cameras together on one screen

Don't worry if you have less than eight cameras this unit will detect it automatically so you don't get Full Blank Screens.

This video processor does provide you real time video that is 30 frames per second per camera for 4 cameras so there is no lag in the video being displayed. If you use all 8 camera ports then the video is half real time that is 15 frames per second per camera. There will be a slight video lag or time lapse effect when using 8 cameras. If you are looking for a realtime video processor for 8 or more cameras then we suggest the 16 camera multiplexer that we carry.

You can use any variety of Color Cameras (wired or wireless cameras) with this unit to make an inexpensive observation system of your own. Definately a very nice and easy to use unit for situations where you don't want to spend a lot of money on a DVR.
