2.4GHz Motion Detector SolarCam!

One Camera System, Wireless Range 150-300 ft.: Unable to find a power outlet nearby? Well with this camera it doesn't matter! You see, during daylight hours the camera receives power via a built-in Solar panel while simultaneously it charges a standby battery contained within. So when the sun goes down, the camera draws whatever power is required from its standby battery. Able to operate without any light for approx. 18 hours, it's more than enough to make it through a night! However please note: Since the standby battery allows the unit to operate when there is no light, if the camera (Solar panel) is placed in an area that receives only a little light, when complete darkness sets in, the unit may only continue to function for a short while after. Folks, we realize most people want something fool-proof, however if you would like to avoid these variables, simply mount the camera in an area that receives daylight -- direct sunlight is best. Also note, normal regular cloudy weather does not prevent the unit from functioning normally. Moving right along -- included with your setup is a Receiver unit. Plug this into your VCR which should be plugged into a TV or Monitor. From there, plug the included VCR Controller into the back of the Receiver unit. Now once the built-in motion sensor detects activity, your VCR Controller will trigger your home VCR to record. We think this later part is pretty slick. Our VCR Controller box will 'Learn' your current VCR's manufacturer codes right from your existing VCR's hand held Remote control. Extremely simple! While certainly not as small as the Bullets seen above, their size is a necessary evil. You see, the camera must contain and house enough Infrared LEDs within it for it to be able to transmit/see distances of 120 and 200 ft. Infrared is like an invisible light - unseen to the naked eye. Generally the more LEDs the camera has, the farther it will see in complete darkness. In a nut shell, these 2.4GHz cameras are packing! To start, they're a High-Resolution Color Sony 1/3" CCD, rating at 0.00 lux, with 420 lines! Naturally, they're weatherproof. As for the difference between the two? This isn't sales hype either. Let's talk turkey, shall we?
