If you need to expand the hard drive storage capacity of your DVR, then this eSATA HDD enclosure is the product for you. It is compatible with our 4 SATA and 8 SATA DVRs and NVR recorders that have eSATA ports. Simply connect it to the back of the recorder using the eSATA connection and it will provide 8 additional SATA hard drive ports for you to record to without having to upgrade your DVR. Depending on your recorder, you can use up to 6TB hard drives, giving you an additional 48TB storage capacity.
There is also a USB3.0 connection for expansion, so you have a choice of using that with our newer recorders (2016 models and later) or the traditional e-SATA connection.
The case is 2U rackmountable and has a vent fan on the back to keep the hard drives running cool.
