Johnny5 - Long Range Infrared PTZ Camera

We like to call this the new Johnny5. This outdoor Pan Tilt Zoom Infrared Camera has a large array of infrared LEDs on one side and a whopping 30X optical zoom Camera on the other with a wiper. Its arsenal of infrared LEDs allow it to see up to 300 feet at night in pitch black, making it great for homes and farms out in the country where you want to keep an eye on your valuable property. It is rated at an IP66 weatherproof rating meaning it will withstand rain, snow, or dirt, in either hot or cold temperatures. The resolution for the built-in camera has been upgraded to 1080P as of September 2017, meaning you can get a FULL HD quality picture with this camera. The camera has the ability to switch to black and white in Day or Night. The lux rating on the camera is 0.01 when the infrared is not on, and 0 Lux with the infrared on. Let's not forget the zoom capabilities. This camera has a 3.4mm to 122.4mm motorized zoom lens that you can control sitting at your monitoring station with the use of a PTZ joystick controller. We're talking about enough zoom to see 300ft away.

If you'd like to use this with an analog DVR, you certainly can by purchasing a video down converter from the options menu above the add to cart button. This down converter will convert the HD over coax signal to composite video.

Because of popular demand we made the camera a horizontal surface mount unlike the ordinary PTZ cameras. It's meant to be mounted on a flat surface like a roof line, top of a vehicle, or with the optional wall mount bracket arm that is available.

You will need a coax RG59 cable for Video, and CAT5 cable to carry the RS485 data signal for the PTZ controls. A 24V AC Power supply is included.
