8 Channel Wireless NVR

8 Channel Wireless NVR with built-in AP (access point) for use with select WiFi cameras by 123CCTV. This NVR supports up to 4MP video recording. You can use either wired or wireless ip cameras. Since it has a built-in access point, it is really meant for use as part of a wireless camera system. If you do choose to use wired IP cameras, be sure to account for a PoE switch.

This is a standalone NVR which means you don't need a computer for this recorder to operate. This wireless camera video recorder has an embedded processor and Linux Operating System which stays virus free. It will never need any maintenance from a computer IT person, saving you a lot of undue costs. It has a friendly easy to use graphical user menu that can be controlled using the included mouse with point & click.

It has a built-in AP that allows easy setup of a wireless security camera system. Using our tested and compatible wireless network cameras you can easily setup a HD wireless camera system and stream video in real time. Here is a list of compatible wireless cameras:

Please note it supports a total of 24mbps of data on the wireless radio. When deploying wireless security cameras, you want to make sure their resolution and bit rate is sett accordingly so it doesn't exceed that.

There is 1 hard drive SATA port for one drive up to 6TB in capacity. If you need more storage room, you can set some or all of your cameras to record on motion detect only. It also has a USB port for easy video backup to a external USB hard drive. You can also back up video via FTP, or to NAS.
